Player's Playlist: Eoghan O'Connell - Exeter City

10 December 2018

Here's Eoghan O'Connell Player's Playlist interview where he discusses the reason behind his ten song choices from Saturday's game against Exeter City...

Can you tell us a bit about your song choices?

It's a bit of a mix, but I like a lot of old stuff, so there are a few classics in there.

What genre do you find yourself listening to most?

At the moment a lot of Irish music, so I suppose Folk.

What do you usually listen to before a game to get you psyched up?

Not really into music before a game, but Murph’s tunes would get anyone going.

What was the first CD/you ever bought?

I think it was Westlife.

What's the best concert/gig you've been to, and why?

An Irish band called The Coronas. I've been to see them a few times; they’re tremendous.

Who/what are you listening to at the moment?

Christy Moore.

Singer or band, that you think the world should love as much as you do?

The Coronas. I've been telling the lads about them.

Your most hated music genre?

Probably heavy metal rock.

If you were in a band would you want to be the lead singer or play an instrument?

Play an instrument. I would love to be able to play guitar, so I’m going to learn.

Which song best describes your life?

Christy Moore - Ordinary Man.
