Ahead of our trip to Oldham Athletic this weekend, our Supporter Liaison Officer has compiled useful information for your visit...



Bury: Are there any known traffic issues en route to the Stadium? I.e any road closures or roadworks?

Oldham: There are no traffic issues around the ground.


Bury: Is car parking available for Bury fans? If so, please provide details (where, how much etc). If no, information on the nearest location would be appreciated.

Oldham: Car parking is available at the car parks at the Royal Oldham Hospital, which are sign posted. The cost is £3 per vehicle.

Please let your fans know not to park on B&Q they will get a fine.


Bury: What is the process for blue badge holders?

Oldham: There are disabled spaces at the away end side of the Joe Royle Stand.


Bury: Please give details of pre-match venue for Bury fans (on-site bar, away fan friendly pubs etc)

Oldham: There is no on-site fans' bar.  The best pub to use is the Clayton Green, situated behind the away end.



Bury: Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

Oldham: There is a free cash machine at the hospital main entrance. There is also one on Elk Mill Retail Park and one in the Clayton Green, but there is a charge for this one.


Bury: What is the nearest train station to the Stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

Oldham: The nearest tram stop is Westwood approximately 1.3 miles from the ground around 15/20 minutes to walk.

The nearest train station is Mills Hill (MIH) approximately 2.1 miles from the ground.


Bury: What food and drink is available in the concourse at the Stadium? 

Oldham: The food available for sale includes pies, hot dogs, chips, crisps and sweets. Drinks include tea, coffee, hot chocolate, Bovril, soft drinks and alcohol.


Bury: Is our drum allowed in the Stadium? What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the Stadium?

Oldham: Your drum is allowed. Flags that are fire retardant are allowed. Flags with poles are not allowed; if you want to bring a large flag, please contact the clubs Safety Officer to get these cleared.


Bury: What is the process for tickets on the day of the game? Can supporters pay on the turnstile or do they need to go to a Ticket Office first before going to the turnstile?

Oldham: Supporters can pay at the turnstile to gain entry to the Stadium.


Bury: What are the accepted payment methods on the day?

Oldham: Cash is accepted at the turnstiles. Should any supporter wish to pay by card, they can do so at the Ticket Office; however, supporters are advised it is likely to be busy and long queues are expected.
