Shakers supporters are being challenged to help children with brain tumours and beat local rivals Bolton Wanderers at the same time.
Supporters of the Club’s official charity, the Joshua Wilson Brain Tumour Charity, will be conducting a collection ahead of the Shakers’ clash with Blackpool FC at The Energy Check Stadium at Gigg Lane tomorrow.
They will also be collecting at the Bolton Wanderers vs Bristol City game this evening and are challenging fans of both clubs to see who can raise the most. The winners will be the Club who have raised the most money based on a % of the crowd.
Bolton and Bury players will be warming up in Super Josh charity t-shirts ahead of their respective games, as well as signing them. The signed player shirts will be thrown into the crowd after the warm-up so keep an eye out to claim yours!
Money raised will help families who have brain tumours and post-surgery disabilities in Bury, Bolton and across the UK.
It offers financial support, creating memories, house adaptations, advice and counselling sessions to help families deal with the disease and treatment.
COME ON YOU SHAKERS!!
