Hate Crime Awareness Week - 5th to 11th February 2018
Anyone can be a victim of hate crime. As well as having a huge impact on the victim it can have wider consequences for communities.
To help raise awareness of hate crime, Bury Community Safety Partnership funded some clappers to be made with the #WeStandTogether message showing the partnership between us. The team were joined on Tuesday evening by the Leader of the Council, Rishi Shori, and Cabinet Member Councillor Tamoor Tariq to show our joint support for the campaign.
We will continue to make the clappers available at home games throughout the month so make sure you pick yours up and get behind the lads and the message that together we are taking a stand against hate crime in our borough.
