Ryan Lowe and his coaching staff certainly put the players through their paces on their first day back in training.
It was body composition and fitness testing in the morning, followed by an outdoor session in almost 30-degree heat.
The session started with a warm-up, then it was into a passing drill, followed by possession boxes.
Then it was into the main part of the session, a grueling 45 minute intermittent run around the pitches at Carrington.
