The FA Cup campaign of 1974 saw the Shakers reach the Fourth Round, but to start the campaign off – a home game with Southport in the First Round. 5,709 supporters witnessed the Shakers progress with a fine 4-2 victory, thanks to goals from Derek Spence (2) and Chris Duffey (2).
Bury's promotion season of 2010/11 was littered with fine performances and results. None more so than the visit to Lincoln City's Sincil Bank. Bury ran amok with goals and recorded a 5-0 victory thanks to goals from Andy Haworth, Nicky Ajose (2) (pictured at the top of the page) and Ryan Lowe (2).
The last recorded game on this day was in the 2013/14 season and a home game with AFC Wimbledon. Danny Hylton put Bury in front before the Dons hit back in the second half. The game finished 1-1 with 2,775 supporters attending.
