The 24 games played on 7th November begins way back in 1891 and a Lancashire League home game with Witton. 3,000 supporters were on hand to witness the Shakers win the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Cooper and Wilkinson.
The first Football League game on this day came in 1896 and a First Division clash with Aston Villa at Vale Park. Harry Millar scored the Shakers' goal in a 1-1 draw with 8,000 supporters watching on.
1914 saw Stockport County make the short trip to Gigg Lane for a Division Two game. 6,000 fans were at the ground to witness goals from John McKnight and John Lythgoe record a 2-1 victory.
A 1925 Division One home game with Newcastle United attracted a crowd of 6,882 supporters, who watched as Norman Bullock scored the Shakers' goal in a 1-1 draw.
The North West War League Division One game with Oldham Athletic in 1942 saw just 2,500 supporters at Gigg Lane. Don Carter and George Davies each scored two goals as the Shakers won the game 4-1.
Wrexham were visitors to Gigg Lane in 1959 for a Division Three game with the Shakers. 8,949 supporters witnessed a five-goal thriller with the Shakers coming out on top with a 3-2 victory – thanks to goals from Brian Turner and a brace from Allan Jackson.
Bury made the short trip to Huddersfield Town's London Road Stadium for a Division Two game in 1964. 7,793 fans watched as the Shakers recorded a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Alec Alston and a Balderstone own goal.
1981 saw the Shakers arrive at Aldershot's Recreation ground for a Division Four game. 2,164 supporters were on hand to see the Shakers win the game 2-1, with goals from Craig Madden and Paul Cruickshank.
Cardiff City were the visitors to Gigg Lane in 2001 for a Division Two (tier 3) game. Just 2,541 supporters were on hand to see Bury win the game 3-0. Goals from Jason Jarrett, Gareth Seddon and young David Borley would secure the points, whilst young David Borley would upset the Cardiff players by referring to them as 'Big Time Charlies' in his post-match interview.
The last recorded game on this day took place in 2015 when Wigan Athletic arrived at Gigg Lane for an FA Cup First Round game. 3,856 supporters watched as the Shakers romped to a 4-0 victory thanks to goals from Tom Pope, Danny Mayor, Nathan Cameron (pictured at the top of the page) and Leon Clarke.
