Player's Playlist: Stevenage - Callum McFadzean

19 November 2018

Here's Callum McFadzean Player's Playlist interview where he discusses the reason behind his ten song choices from Saturday's game against Stevenage...

There's a bit of a mix to your playlist, is that what you usually find yourself listening to, a bit of everything?

Yeah, I like to mix it up so I’m not listening to the same stuff. I like all different types of music.

Can you tell us a bit about your song choices?

There's a mixture from old to new, which I like. They are the kind of songs I’d want to listen to to get me ready for a game because they all have a good energy and vibe.

What do you usually listen to before a game to get you psyched up?

We leave that to Murph, he sorts the music in the changing room before each game. He loves a remix and a two-step.

What was the first CD you ever bought?

That’s a tough one, my memory is not the best, but at a guess, I'd probably say one of the standard Now That’s What I Call Music albums or something mad like that.

What's the best concert/gig you've been to, and why?

Drake, it was the first time he came to England so everyone was buzzing. It was a class night.

Who/what are you listening to at the moment?

Fredo, he’s got some good tracks out at the minute. Also, listening to all sorts with the Mrs to decide on a song for the first dance for our wedding.

Singer or band, that you think the world should love as much as you do?

Cher, can’t beat an old school classic! I’ll probably get banter for this one.

Your most hated music genre?

Rock, it gives me a headache; it's a bit too much for me.

If you were in a band would you want to be the lead singer or play an instrument, and why?

I would probably play an instrument and get on the drums. My singing voice isn’t the best.

The song that best describes your life?

I don’t think I can pick one song to describe my life. So, will have to leave this one.

Best playlist of the lads so far? Who's has been/will be the worst?

Surprisingly, the best up to now has been Nicky Adams. Dom Telford’s was terrible, he should have been fined for it.

Here's a reminder of Callum's playlist:
