Loan Watch: Saturday 6th October

8 October 2018

Chris Sang

Chris made his debut for Marine AFC, coming on in the 75th minute in the club's FA Cup tie with Brackley Town.

Marine produced a strong performance as they beat the current FA Trophy holders 3-2 to progress to the 4th Qualifying Round of the FA Cup to face Salford City at home on Saturday 20th October. Marine will be looking to make it through to the First Round for the first time in 23 years.

Gold Omotayo

Gold played for 45 minutes in Maidstone United's 1-0 defeat to Bromley as he was replaced by Michael Phillips.

The Ravens went ahead after just 11 minutes when Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe got on the end of a Sam Wood cross and headed it past Lee Worgan. The win saw Bromley extend their unbeaten run to three games.

Harry Bunn

Harry was left out of the Southend United side that faced Oxford United due to an ongoing foot injury.

The sides played out a goalless draw at Roots Hall; which saw Oxford slip to the bottom of the Sky Bet League One table despite securing a point.

Joe Skarz

Joe was absent from the FC Halifax Town squad due to injury as they suffered a 3-0 defeat away at Aldershot Town.

The home side took their chances early in the first-half with Adam May and Adam McDonnell giving the Shots a 2-0 lead at half-time and Jake Gallagher’s goal in the 47th minute made it three.

Jordan Archer

Jordan came on for Akintunde in the 77th minute of Maidenhead's game against Leyton Orient.

First-half goals from Macauley Bonne and James Alabi were enough to see the O’s home with the three points.

Scott Burgess

Scott was left out of Wrexham's squad as they maintained their unbeaten home record with a 1-0 victory over Havant & Waterlooville.

Wrexham took the lead just after the half-hour mark with a great curling effort from Rekeil Pyke. Pyke should have doubled the advantage in the second-half, but he was denied by Ben Dudzinski. Wrexham remain 4th in the Vanarama National League while Havant & Waterlooville remain 21st.

Scott Moloney

Scott was an unused substitute for Skelmersdale United as they were defeated 1-0 at home against Widnes.

The crucial strike came from on-loan debutant Jack Dunn who capitalised on Phil Mooney's attempted clearance and advanced on goal, slotting it home to make it 1-0.

Tom Aldred

Tom started and finished the game for Motherwell as they drew 1-1 with Livingston.

Ryan Bowman's effort was deflected in to give Motherwell the half-time lead, but Keaghan Jacobs' free-kick brought the Lions level.

Livi extended their unbeaten run in the Ladbrokes Premiership to seven matches, but could not prevent 10-man Motherwell ending a four-match losing run.

This game was also the 300th of Tom's career.
