Volunteer Success!

3 October 2018

This year is a year to celebrate two people who have worked alongside the Trust in coaching and volunteering.

Both Kieran Tilley and Jordan Booth have been nominated in this year's Bury Sports Awards as finalists in two fields.

Kieran has been nominated for the Unsung Hero Award for his efforts and volunteer help with Bury Relics, our local walking football team. He has spent many hours of his own time helping to set teams up, enter them into leagues, find kits and sponsors for the kits. He has brought a community of men together through his love for the game of football!

His drive and passion has shone through this year and the team would not be at the successful stage it is at now without him.

Jordan has been nominated for Coach of the Year Award for his efforts in coaching. Jordan coaches a range of clubs and teams, specifically goalkeepers. His coaching this year was expanded by regularly coaching Bury FC - The trust disability teams along with, Bury FC Boys & Girls, The Football College, Seedfield JFC, Bury Allstars and one-to-one coaching to help improve individual players.

He does all his coaching hours alongside being a full-time student at the Football College. Jordan's drive and determination to be a brilliant coach has seen him go from strength to strength this year, with more and more teams wanting his help and expertise.

A huge congratulations to these two, The Trust are proud to be working with you both!
