Bury Football Club are proud to announce that over the weekend of 19th and 20th October, we will be holding a couple of events for Lenny Johnrose, who recently revealed he had been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.
Commencing on Friday 19th October, there will be a Sportsman's Dinner in the Social Club, where Lenny will be joined by former teammates as they regale stories from their playing days.
The Dinner will comprise of a three-course meal that will be served at 19:30, with guests asked to arrive from 19:00.
A limited number of sponsorship tables will also be available and can be booked by contacting email@example.com
Following consultation with fans, tickets for this event cost £30 per head.
A table of 10 can also be booked at a discounted cost of £225 + VAT, but must be made as one booking.
Sponsorship tables cost £400 + VAT for a table of 10; individual tickets are not available for this option.
Proceeds made from the ticket sales for this event will be donated to charities of Lenny's choice.
Tickets for this event will be available from 9am on Tuesday 18th September, and can be bought by contacting our Events Team on 0161 764 4881 (opt. 2), or by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tickets can also be purchased from Main Reception during club opening hours.
Lenny will also be the Guest of Honour at our home game against Notts County, being played the day after on Saturday 20th October.
We can confirm that the club will be making a donation from the gate receipts from this game to charities of Lenny's choosing.
Both events are to allow the fans to show their appreciation to our promotion winning former midfielder, who was diagnosed with Motor-Neurone Disease last March.
