Loan Watch

10 September 2018

Harry Bunn

Although Southend United suffered a last-gasp 3-2 defeat at the hands of Sky Bet League One leaders Peterborough, Harry Bunn was able to claim an assist as Tom Hopper tapped in from Bunn's pass for Southend's first goal.

Bunn linked up with Chris Powell's side on a season-long loan deal on 28th August and was in the starting line-up for Saturday's game, as well as the side’s midweek Checkatrade Trophy encounter against Cambridge United.

Jordan Archer

Jordan Archer played for 66 minutes in Maidenhead's 1-0 defeat to Barnet on Saturday and worked hard throughout according to Maidenhead's match report, having a goal-bound effort blocked after good work by teammates Kelly and Mulley.

Since joining the Magpies on 31st August, Archer has made three appearances for the club.

Joe Skarz

FC Halifax Town played out an exciting 1-1 draw with fellow bright starters Leyton Orient at the MBi Shay Stadium. Joe Skarz made his fourth start for the Shaymen, who currently occupy 5th spot in the National League table, since joining them on 24th August.

Scott Moloney, Scott Burgess, and Tom Aldred didn't get any minutes on the pitch this weekend. Scott Moloney was named on the bench in Skelmersdale's 0-0 draw with Glossop North End, Scott Burgess wasn't named in Wrexham's squad, whilst Tom Aldred and Motherwell had a break due to the weekend's international fixtures.
