This week, our Trust have been running football and multi-sports camps for local children in the borough. The aim of these sessions is to provide safe and enjoyable football for children of all abilities, aged 4-13yrs during the holiday periods in the local community. Their sessions are structured to gradually increase a child's learning from basic skills, to game play throughout the day and week.
The first week of their Easter multi-sports camp at PlayFootball was drawn to a close with Nicky Adams and John Lucas getting involved in the session.
During the visit, both Nicky and John spoke with the children, giving them pointers and advice during a small-sided football game, followed by a question and answer session.
There were lots of questions about all things football for Nicky, and some questions around fitness and nutrition which John answered. As always, this was a great and informative experience for all the children taking place in the camp.
Want to book your child on the next week’s camp? Places are limited, so book via the Trust’s website here - www.buryfc-trust.co.uk, or email their Football Development Officer on firstname.lastname@example.org
