Ahead of the Shakers' trip to Tranmere Rovers this weekend, our SLO has put together useful information for supporters travelling to the match.
Bury: Are there any known traffic issues en route to the Stadium? I.e any road closures or roadworks?
Tranmere: There are none that we are aware of.
Bury: Is car parking available for Bury fans? If so, please provide details (where, how much etc). If no, information on the nearest location would be appreciated.
Tranmere: Car parking spaces can be booked in advance or on the day of the game, priced at £5 per car or £10 per minibus/coach.
Bury: What is the process for blue badge holders?
Tranmere: There is a limited disabled parking facility, which can be pre-booked by calling 03330 144 452, or by e-mailing tickets@tranmererovers.co.uk
Bury: Please give details of pre-match venues for Bury fans (on-site bar, away fan friendly pubs etc)
Tranmere: Bar facilities are available to all supporters in the Summit Scaffolding Cowshed Stand, as well as hot and cold refreshments.
Bury: Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?
Tranmere: The nearest cash machine to the stadium is at Tesco’s, a 5-minute walk from the ground on Borough Road.
Bury: What is the nearest train station to the Stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?
Tranmere: The nearest train station is Birkenhead Central. From there, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to the stadium along Borough Road.
Bury: What food and drink is available in the concourse at the Stadium? (Please attach image if applicable)
Tranmere: The Fan Park welcomes all supporters and will be set up on matchdays at the front of the Main Stand. Here you will find a large bar, and additional outlets selling a variety of food and drink, while there is a big screen to show live football in the build-up to the game.
Bury: Is our drum allowed in the Stadium? What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the Stadium?
Tranmere: Drums are allowed as long as they fit through the turnstile. They will not be allowed in via a main exit gate.
Bury: What is the process for tickets on the day of the game? Can supporters pay on the turnstile or do they need to go to a Ticket Office first before going to the turnstile?
Tranmere: Tickets are not available on the day as we have sold out our allocation.
