Heading to Saturday's game against Morecambe at the Globe Arena? Our Supporter Liaison Officer has put together useful information for your visit...

Bury Football Club are aware of planned strike action taking place from 5pm on Saturday.  This may impact on supporters intending to travel from Morecambe to Lancaster after the conclusion of the game.

Bury: Are there any known traffic issues en route to the Stadium? I.e any road closures or roadworks?

Morecambe: There are no issues that we are aware of.

Bury: Is car parking available for Bury fans? If so, please provide details (where, how much etc). If no, information on the nearest location would be appreciated.

Morecambe: No car parking is available at the ground. There is secure parking available at Westgate Primary School around (200m away), which is clearly signposted on the main road, priced at £4 per car.

This is run by the school (not by the Club) with all proceeds going back to the school. There is also some limited off-street parking around the local area, we ask supporters to be mindful of local residents when parking off-street.

Bury: What is the process for blue badge holders?

Morecambe: There are a small number of blue badge spaces at the ground, these are sold on a first-come-first-served basis to both home & away supporters; they usually sell out before the day. Please call the Club Shop on 01524 411797 to purchase a space.

Bury: Please give details of pre-match venue for Bury fans (on-site bar, away fan friendly pubs etc)

Morecambe: The Hurley Flyer pub is directly opposite the ground and welcomes away supporters. There is also the William Mitchell pub around 500m from the ground who also welcome away supporters.

Bury: Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

Morecambe: A shopping precinct near the William Mitchell public house.

Bury: What is the nearest train station to the Stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

Morecambe: Morecambe Train Station is 1.7 miles from the ground, around 30 mins walk.

Bury: What food and drink is available in the concourse at the Stadium?

Morecambe: Our food counters serve our homemade, award winning Meat & Potato pies priced at £3.50. We also serve a range of hot & cold drinks (£1.80), and various confectionary items. Alcohol is also available (Carlsberg 500ml priced at £3.20).

Bury: Is our drum allowed in the stadium? What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the stadium?

Morecambe: We allow supporters to bring drums and flags into the ground, however we would ask that they email the Club to make us aware in advance so we know to expect them. (office@morecambefc.com)

Bury: What is the process for tickets on the day of the game? Can supporters pay on the turnstile or do they need to go to a Ticket Office first before going to the turnstile?
