Bury Football Club can confirm that Chris Dagnall's contract with the Club has been terminated by mutual consent and he is now free to find another club.
Chris joined Bury in the summer on a free transfer from Crewe Alexandra. During his seven months with the Shakers, Chris has made 19 appearances, scoring 3 goals.
Speaking on Chris' departure, Manager Ryan Lowe said: "It's been disappointing for Chris recently, places in the squad have been limited due to the firepower we've got at the club.
"He's got an opportunity to join another club and I believe he will score goals. I've got a great relationship with Daggers, as a friend as well as a player, but it was the right thing to do for both parties. He'll be able to go somewhere else and play more, he wants to play for as long as he possibly can.
"We had to make sure it was a mutual agreement and it was agreed on by all parties."
The Club would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.
