SLO Information: Yeovil Town

4 January 2019

Ahead of Saturday's visit to Yeovil Town, our Supporter Liaison Officer has compiled information for all Bury supporters making the trip...

Bury: Are there any known traffic issues en route to the Stadium? I.e any road closures or roadworks?

Yeovil Town: I believe by Saturday part of Western Avenue will be closed, but if your supporters follow signs for 'Away Parking' as they approach the ground it will bring them in via Lufton Way to the front of the ground and the away car park.

Bury: Is car parking available for Bury fans? If so, please provide details (where, how much etc). If no, information on the nearest location would be appreciated.

Yeovil Town: Yes, as above pay £3 to the steward on the gate.

Bury: What is the process for blue badge holders?

Yeovil Town: Please contact Sharon Swain who runs our disabled supporters club and deals with accessible parking – please call Sharon on 07790 375250.

Bury: Please give details of pre-match venue for Bury fans (on-site bar, away fan friendly pubs etc).

Yeovil Town: Away supporters will be allowed in the Beer Marquee at the bottom of the Tamburino Stand.

Bury: Where is the nearest cash machine to the Stadium?

Yeovil Town: The ASDA supermarket at the roundabout at the start of Lufton Way/Western Avenue or the Tesco Metro located in in the Forum Precinct in the Abbey Manor estate. Both are about a 10-15 min walk.

Bury: What is the nearest train station to the Stadium and what is the approximate distance and walking time?

Yeovil Town: Both stations are on the other side of town and require a connecting bus to the town centre bus station, then another bus heading to Abbey Manor estate. Or taxis wait at both stations; the cost of a single trip to the ground is about £10.

Bury: What food and drink is available in the concourse at the Stadium?

Yeovil Town: We have sausage rolls, pasties and hot dogs available, as well as a range of hot/cold drinks and chocolate/crisps.

Bury: Is our drum allowed in the Stadium? What is the process for supporters looking to bring flags into the Stadium?

Yeovil Town: Unfortunately, as only the seated area will be open, we wouldn't be able to accommodate a drum I'm afraid.

Bury: What is the process for tickets on the day of the game? Can supporters pay on the turnstile or do they need to go to a Ticket Office first before going to the turnstile?

Yeovil Town: Tickets go up in price from 12pm on the day but supporters can buy up to kick off from the Ticket office on the Tamburino side of the ground. Tickets CANNOT be purchased at the turnstiles; all tickets have to be purchased from the Ticket Office prior to getting to the turnstiles.

Bury: What are the accepted payment methods on the day?

Yeovil Town: Cash and card are available for ticket sales from the Ticket Office only. Tickets cannot be purchased at the turnstiles.

Bury: What is the postcode for SatNav users?

Yeovil Town: BA22 8YF

Bury: Any additional information you think may be useful for our fans?
