On the 24th of July, the Community Trust will again be attending Bury’s biggest annual event, Collabor8. Entry is free and it's a fantastic event which celebrates multiculturalism, faith and diversity within our community.
The Trust have attended this event for a number of years and always find it to be a great and informative day with lots of fun family activities, performances and lots of opportunities to network and see what is going on within the communities of Bury.
This event is run by an army of volunteers and community leaders, overseen by Greater Manchester’s Emergency Services, and this year's line-up for the event is possibly the biggest so far with GATKA Sikh Martial Arts, Tower FM, Carol Godby Theatre Workshop and the Bury FC Community Trust, amongst many, many more with others still being added. Not only will there be plenty to see, but you will also be able to meet GMP’s police horses, take part in activities, and even get the chance to ride inside real emergency service vehicles!
The event takes place on Wednesday 24th July at Bury College in the Millennium Building, and runs from 12:00pm until 4:00pm. Entry to Collabor8 is absolutely free of charge, but please be aware there may be small charges for various activities, food and drink, etc.
So why not come down and see what the great town of Bury has to offer!
