We can now confirm our fixtures for the upcoming Sky Bet League One campaign...
The Shakers will open their 2019/2020 campaign when they host fellow newly promoted side MK Dons on Saturday 3rd August.
Our first away game sees us travel to Accrington Stanley, before hosting Gillingham. Our second away trip of the season is a trip to the New York Stadium to take on Rotherham United in our first Tuesday night fixture.
There are always the key derby dates that all Shakers will be eagerly anticipating. We go head-to-head with Bolton Wanderers at the University of Bolton Stadium on the 7th September, before hosting them in the return fixture on Saturday 18th April. The Shakers will have a trip to Spotland on 14th December, before Brian Barry-Murphy brings his side to the Energy Check Stadium at Gigg Lane on Saturday 14th March.
Another exciting date for Shakers fans will be our trip to the Stadium of Light on 21st March.
Our festive period shapes up nicely, Sunderland will be our visitors on 21st December, before a Boxing Day trip to Coventry City. 3 days later on the 29th, it’s Southend who will be making the trip to Bury, before a New Years Day clash with Shrewsbury Town.
Good Friday see us entertain Sky Bet League League Two Play-Off winners Tranmere Rovers before heading to Doncaster Rovers on Easter Monday.
We will be at home for our final match of the season, where Fleetwood Town will be our visitors.
We will find out our Carabao Cup First Round opponents this evening, more information around the draw can be found HERE.
Our opening FA Cup game has been scheduled to take place on 9th November, with a potential Second Round date to be played at the end of the same month.
