Community Trust Holiday Camp

4 March 2019

The Community Trust are back this week after another successful week of the half-term football camp at, where we engaged with more than 50 different children over the five days.

As well as the engagement, we were also able to provide students from The Football College - based at Bury Football Club - with the opportunity to gain some hands-on work experience.

We had some special treats for the children as we were visited by men's and women's first team players during the week.

Nicky Adams and Gold Omotayo represented the men's first team, with Jordanna Rae and Aymee Openshaw representing the women's first team. Both sets of players joined in mini matches with the children, followed by a Q&A about all things football, and were happy to have pictures taken.

Our camps are there to help develop both an enjoyment of the game for all levels of players, and support in their development. Players attending the sessions help give the young players to get an insight into the life of a footballer and to support their knowledge and understanding of the professional game. All in all, these were great experiences for all the children involved.

We run these camps every half-term and who knows who will show up next time? Interested? E-mail our Football Development Officer using
