End of Season Awards Confirmed!

3 May 2019

We are delighted to confirm that our End of Season Awards will take place at the conclusion of Saturday’s home game against Port Vale.

The supporters have played a huge part in the successes this season, and we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to be a part of these celebrations!

At the end of Saturday’s game, the players will first complete a lap of honour around the pitch to show their appreciation for your fantastic support throughout this season.

Once this has been completed, the Player of the Season Awards will be presented to the players in the centre of the pitch, with the Shakers’ faithful in attendance.

The full list of awards being presented are:

Fans’ Player of the Season 2018/19

Paul Earnshaw Clubman of the Year 2018/19

Manager’s Player of the Season 2018/19

Players’ Player of the Season 2018/19

Young Player of the Season 2018/19

Goal of the Season 2018/19

PFA Community Champion Award 2018/19

We would like to take this opportunity to remind supporters that it is a criminal offence to encroach onto the playing surface without permission. The players will not be returning to the pitch unless it is clear, so we would ask that you celebrate appropriately and allow the players and Club staff the chance to see the season out as planned.

The Manchester Road End will also be open for this game, giving Bury supporters another option from where to watch the final game of the season. We understand the singing section are also planning on basing themselves in this stand for the game. Supporters who already have a ticket for this match – including season card holders – can gain admittance to the Manchester Road End by showing their card or ticket at the relevant turnstiles.
