Matt enjoyed great success at Mossley Hill in which they finished the season in the top half and won the County Cup Trophy. Matt has had the experience of coming up against teams such as; Middlesbrough, Leeds, Newcastle and Blackburn.

After playing and captaining the team for the last five years, Paul has been handed the reins of the Second team and has named Raffi as his assistant. Raffi will be hoping to learn from Paul, by giving valuable input into the running of the team, whilst still leading the line and hoping to add to his goal tally after netting an impressive 15 goals during the 2016-17 season. Raffi has also been a part of the Bury Ladies coaching set up for the last 12 months, gaining valuable experience and confidence over that time under the tutorship of Bury FC Ladies manager, Paul Iannaccone.
Ground-breaking Merger Strengthens Grassroots Football in Bury16 June 2017
Bury FC The Trust, the Clubs’ official charity, with whom both grassroots clubs had a close affiliation with already, have brokered a partnership which will see the new club sitting within the charities’ structure and re-named as Bury FC Boys & Girls. With 600 children and up to 50 teams across boys, girls and disability provision forming the club as well as countless managers, volunteers, parents and committee members Bury FC Boys & Girls will make a significant contribution to the borough and it’s children.
